Hello, and welcome to my practice of counseling with positive psychology. Counseling psychology is used with myriad of issues such as, depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, grief/loss, and everyday issues that are difficult to navigate in our busy world. Counseling psychology focuses on facilitating personal and interpersonal issues and functioning across the lifespan. My specialty pays particular attention to people’s vocational, social, emotional, health related, developmental and organizational concerns. At any stage of life, we focus on overcoming people’s challenges.
My main goal in therapy with you is to encourage you to discover and nurture your character strengths and to find ways to help you shift a negative outlook into a more positive and optimistic view to improve your quality of life, as well as help you learn to lead a meaningful and productive life. In order to do that, sometimes we need help in learning how to make the most of our setbacks and adversities, that includes engaging and relating to others and discussing what worked and what didn’t work in your past and present life. I look forward to help guide you into the most productive, sustaining and fulfilling era of your lifetime.
My mode of practice sometimes includes animals, art, music, dance, and performance to enhance your quality of life. Adults, Children, and the Elderly are encouraged to join me on this journey of life together. My practice includes a specialty in Psycho-oncology and Trauma and Stress with survivors.
